When his grandfather is gone, a little service robot named Hugh leaves the only home he has ever known and walks toward the lights of Lumina.
He is not the fastest, the strongest, or the newest. He makes mistakes. Sometimes he is afraid. But he never stops helping.
Hugh was built by an old repairman in a small town called Maple Creek, who taught him to read, to think, and to never give up.
Lumina is enormous, bright and loud. Hugh is a hundred and twenty-five centimetres tall and he has never been there.
Every chapter is a story of its own, and together they build one journey about friendship, courage and kindness.
