SkyHugh is currently in development. This policy describes our planned data practices. As the app launches, this document will be updated to reflect live functionality.

1. Who we are

SkyHugh is part of the SKYNET Ecosystem. References to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to SKYNET Ecosystem and its operating entities.

2. What data we collect

When you use SkyHugh or sign up for our waitlist, we may collect:

Email address (waitlist signup)
Name and username (account registration)
Content you upload (videos, images, captions)
Usage data (pages viewed, features used, session duration)
Device information (browser type, OS, device type)
IP address and approximate location

3. How we use your data

To operate and improve the SkyHugh platform
To send you launch updates and product news (with your consent)
To personalize content recommendations via Hugh AI
To process SKC token transactions
To comply with legal obligations

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, email)
Other SKYNET Ecosystem services you connect (SkyChat, SkyMailbox, etc.) — only with your explicit consent
Law enforcement when required by law

5. Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies for session management and optional analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Waitlist data is deleted within 12 months of app launch if you have not registered.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and regular security audits. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Children

SkyHugh is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
